Know that the Trustees of IU determine the tuition rates for all IU campuses and students in the School of Nursing have additional fees; resources are available to help you excel academically and financially.
Tuition and fees for the Indiana University School of Nursing’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree vary depending on the program.
Tuition and fees for the Traditional BSN depend on your residency (in state or out of state) and the number of credit hours you take each semester. You can use IU’s tuition and fees estimator as a starting point for figuring out how much it will cost for you to earn a BSN degree at IU Bloomington. However, keep in mind that there are additional program and clinical fees for nursing students that may not be included in the estimate.

The first step in applying for financial aid is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). When you complete your FAFSA, you’ll be considered for a variety of state and federal financial aid programs, including loans, grants, and work-study positions.
The priority deadline for completing your FAFSA is April 15.

Scholarships—money for school that doesn’t have to be repaid—can help you cover the cost of your education and minimize your debt. The School of Nursing offers a number of scholarships for undergraduate students. Applications for those scholarships are accepted from mid-December to February 1 and again from September 1 to mid-September each year, unless otherwise noted in the scholarship portal.
