Advancing the next generation of nurse scientists focused on Social Determinants of Health
Midwest LEADRS – Leadership in Education, Application, and Dissemination of Research on Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) – is a NIH-funded research education program designed to prepare early-career scientists and aligned health researchers to conduct rigorous, impactful research addressing the social determinants of health. Through immersive training, structured mentorship, and real-world service-learning partnerships, Fellows develop the skills needed to design, apply and disseminate SDOH research that improves health outcomes.
