IU School of Nursing Bloomington's John Simmons has won an APEX award for excellence in video production. This year’s award is for IUSON BL’s May 2020 video graduation ceremony. This is John’s 2nd APEX award: last year, John won for “Working As One”, his video about the Monroe County Opioid Summit.

For the past 33 years, Communications Concepts (a media consulting firm in the Washington, D.C. area) has sponsored the APEX awards. With nearly 1,200 entries this year, the award recognizes excellence in print, video, websites, social media, and more.
