Congratulations to IUSON BL’s Greg Carter on being named a 2021 recipient of a FACET Mumford Excellence in Extraordinary Teaching Award. IU’s Faculty Academy on Excellence in Teaching (FACET) established this award, in memory of Dr. James E. Mumford, to recognize instructors who demonstrate notably creative and compassionate teaching in response to extraordinary events.

The FACET award recognizes the innovative efforts that Greg and his students have made in developing a series of online and in-person tools to deliver 50 at-home HIV prevention kits to at-risk populations in South Central Indiana.
