Biography
Dr. Anthony Ungaro has spent 15 years in higher education helping students navigate college, discover their strengths, and prepare for their future. Beginning his career in Housing & Residential Life, Anthony developed a passion for supporting students beyond the classroom. He later transitioned into Admissions and Recruitment, where he found new opportunities to connect with students as they explored their academic and professional goals.
Anthony holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Organizational Leadership from Abilene Christian University and a Master of Science (MSE) in Higher Education Administration from the University of Kansas.
At the IU School of Nursing, Anthony serves as a resource for students exploring nursing and preparing for the application process. He helps students understand program requirements, navigate the steps toward admission, and make informed decisions about their academic journey.
Anthony believes that choosing a career is more than selecting a degree—it's about discovering where your interests, strengths, and goals can come together. His goal is to make the path to nursing feel clear, approachable, and achievable while helping students feel confident in their next steps.
