Biography
Evans Appiah Osei, PhD, RN, is a lecturer at the IU School of Nursing and a part-time Medical Oncology Registered Nurse at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He earned his PhD in Nursing and Gerontology from Purdue University, a Master of Philosophy in Nursing from the University of Ghana, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valley View University, Ghana.
Dr. Appiah is a registered nurse with over a decade of combined teaching, clinical, and research experience. His research focuses on palliative and end-of-life care, cancer care, women's health, financial health and wellbeing.
He has authored approximately 60 peer-reviewed publications and has received numerous national and international awards, scholarships, and dissertation research grants in recognition of his scholarly contributions.
