Biography
Since joining Indiana University’s School of Nursing as a faculty lecturer in 2023, Professor Bailey has blended hands-on clinical expertise with a deep passion for teaching. Her clinical career has centered on cardiac and transplant patient populations, most recently serving as Clinical Unit Educator in a high-acuity Cardiovascular ICU. In that role, she led staff development, facilitated onboarding, and advanced evidence-based practice initiatives. Professor Bailey believes that a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology, paired with comprehensive assessment skills and strategic critical thinking, is essential to developing exceptional nurses. She applies this philosophy to her teaching, mentorship, and unwavering commitment to student success.
