Important notes about required courses

• The Human Anatomy and Human Physiology courses must include in-person lab sections. Labs may not be taken online.
  • Students will be asked to attest to the completion of an in-person lab at the time of application to the School of Nursing. Students may be asked to submit course syllabus or documentation of the in-person component of the course.
• Anatomy and Physiology requirements must be met with graded college coursework, not by S (Satisfactory), P (Pass), or T (Test) credits
• Knowledge and competencies from courses in Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, and Math are time-limited for nursing applicants. If any were completed more than seven years before starting nursing coursework, applicants must retake the course to remain eligible for admission and progression. • A course may be repeated for an attempt at a higher grade. The grade on the most recent attempt must be used to calculate the nursing admission GPA. A grade of C (2.0) or higher must be attained for each course. This includes grades earned in microbiology and all nursing courses.
• Students who complete multiple courses to meet general education requirements for analytical reasoning or math modeling may use the best grade, not most recent.
