Clinical Track Faculty - Psychiatric Mental Health CNS/NP (#COMH15002)

Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON) seeks qualified candidates for two clinical track faculty positions with expertise in psychiatric mental health nursing. The persons are responsible for teaching clinical and didactic courses primarily in the undergraduate courses in psychiatric mental health nursing and may also teach graduate psychiatric mental health in the NP major. Scholarship of teaching and service are expectations for appointment to the clinical track.

Qualified applicants must hold a master's degree in nursing with a doctorate preferred or have completed the BSN to PhD and/or BSN to DNP program and have recent clinical and teaching experience in the field. Applicants who hold the master's degree must be enrolled in a doctoral program at the time of initial appointment. Psychiatric Mental Health certification is preferred. Applicants currently enrolled or who are willing to enroll to seek certification from an accredited program within 6 months of appointment may qualify. Appointment to academic rank and salary are dependent on demonstrated scholarly achievement, teaching, and clinical experience.

Clinical Track Faculty - Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (#16008)

Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON) seeks qualified candidates for a clinical track faculty position with expertise and certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP). The person is responsible for teaching clinical and didactic courses in the graduate acute care NP major. Scholarship of teaching and service are expectations for appointment to the clinical track.

Qualified applicants must hold a must hold an earned doctorate in nursing or a doctorate in a related field with a master's degree in nursing and recent clinical and teaching experience in the field preferred. Applicants who hold the master's degree must be enrolled in a doctoral program at the time of initial appointment. Must also have a strong record of practice and leadership as an ACNP in primary care settings with a history of, or a desire to design, teach, and lead NP curriculum. Appointment to academic rank and salary are dependent on demonstrated scholarly achievement, teaching, and clinical experience.
