Pre- and Postdoc Fellowships
Training in Behavioral Nursing Research (T32)
As a predoctoral or a postdoctoral fellow, you will receive individualized guidance to accommodate your past experiences, research interests, and future career plans. You will meet your research and training goals through a highly individualized and closely monitored training program that fosters strong mentoring relationships among trainees, your nursing faculty, and interdisciplinary faculty advisors.
Both predoctoral and postdoctoral fellows will receive
- A stipend, partial payment of tuition and fees, and health insurance coverage (if needed)
- Support for travel to scientific meetings and training/research-related expenses
- Two years of support, with renewal of each year contingent upon satisfactory progress at annual review
In addition, postdoctoral fellows must agree to the NIH Payback Agreement to engage in a month of health-related research, health-related research training, or health-related teaching for each month you received training grant support for postdoctoral research training up to and including 12 months.
