Clinical Track - SNC - AGACNP focus (#19004)

Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON) seeks qualified candidates for a Clinical Assistant Professor position in the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program (AGACNP). Scholarship of teaching and service are expectations for appointment to the clinical track.

 Qualified applicants must hold an earned master’s in nursing with a doctorate required (DNP or PhD) and recent clinical and teaching experience. Relevant recent clinical and teaching experience in the field required along with AGACNP certification. The successful candidate must be licensed or eligible for Indiana RN licensure. Appointment to academic rank and salary are dependent on demonstrated scholarly achievement, teaching, and clinical experience.

Clinical Track - FNP or PMHNP (#19001)

Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON) seeks qualified candidates for two clinical assistant professors in the Community and Health Systems Department. These positions offer exciting opportunities for teaching with an academic appointment. The IUSON needs qualified applicants who can teach clinical and/or didactic courses in the undergraduate or graduate programs. Faculty with a strong clinical background as an advance practice nurse, as a family nurse practitioner or psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner are preferred. Scholarship of teaching and service are expectations to advance on the clinical track. Clinical Track - Science of Nursing Care (#18009)

Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON) seeks qualified candidates for a clinical track faculty position with expertise in medical-surgical or critical care nursing. The person is responsible for teaching clinical and didactic courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs. Scholarship of teaching and service are expectations for appointment to the clinical track.

Qualified applicants must hold an earned master’s degree in nursing with a doctorate preferred and recent clinical and teaching experience. Candidates who do not have a doctorate must be enrolled in a doctoral program (DNP or PhD) at the time of application.  Relevant recent clinical and teaching experience in the field required. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred (i.e., AGPCNP or AGACNP). The successful candidate must be licensed or eligible for Indiana RN licensure. Appointment to academic rank and salary are dependent on demonstrated scholarly achievement, teaching, and clinical experience.

Clinical Track Faculty Positions (#FW19001)

Indiana University School of Nursing, Fort Wayne seeks qualified candidates for four clinical track faculty positions with expertise in pediatrics, critical care, mental health, community health and/or medical surgical nursing. The person is responsible for teaching clinical and didactic courses in the undergraduate program and other courses as appropriate. A focus on Pediatrics, critical care, Mental Health, medical surgical and/or community health nursing is highly desired. Scholarship of teaching and service are expectations for appointment to the clinical track.

Qualified applicants must hold a master’s degree in nursing with a doctorate preferred. Relevant recent clinical and teaching experience in the field preferred. Applicants who hold the master’s degree must be enrolled in a doctoral program or willing to enroll in a doctoral program within 6 months of initial appointment. Appointment to academic rank and salary are dependent on demonstrated scholarly achievement, teaching, and clinical experience.
