Clinical Track - SNC - AGACNP focus (#19004)

Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON) seeks qualified candidates for a Clinical Assistant Professor position in the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program (AGACNP). Scholarship of teaching and service are expectations for appointment to the clinical track.

Qualified applicants must hold an earned master’s in nursing with a doctorate required (DNP or PhD) and recent clinical and teaching experience. Relevant recent clinical and teaching experience in the field required along with AGACNP certification. The successful candidate must be licensed or eligible for Indiana RN licensure. Appointment to academic rank and salary are dependent on demonstrated scholarly achievement, teaching, and clinical experience.

Clinical Track - FNP or PMHNP (#19001)

Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON) seeks qualified candidates for two clinical assistant professors in the Community and Health Systems Department. These positions offer exciting opportunities for teaching with an academic appointment. The IUSON needs qualified applicants who can teach clinical and/or didactic courses in the undergraduate or graduate programs. Faculty with a strong clinical background as an advance practice nurse, as a family nurse practitioner or psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner are preferred. Scholarship of teaching and service are expectations to advance on the clinical track. The IUSON is looking for scholars who will contribute to our commitment to engage the city, state, nation and beyond through teaching, scholarship and service, in consideration of the rich diversity of our campus and city as we prepare our graduates to enter and lead in an increasingly complex world.

Qualified applicants must hold an earned master’s degree in nursing with a doctorate preferred or have completed the BSN to PhD and/or BSN to DNP program and recent clinical and teaching experience in the field. Applicants who hold the master’s degree and certification in family nurse practitioner and/or psychiatric mental health are preferred. Candidates who do not have a doctorate must be enrolled in doctoral program within 6 months of initial appointment. The successful candidates must be licensed or eligible for Indiana RN licensure. Appointment to academic rank and salary are dependent on scholarly achievement and demonstrated teaching experience.
