Giving to IU Nursing

Give Now

pile of bills with help signIt’s no exaggeration to say that every discussion of health care for COVID-19 patients involves nurses. Over and over we hear words of appreciation and thanks for these dedicated professionals. We also hear of the great need for more nurses. Since 1914, through pandemics and world wars and natural disasters, Indiana University School of Nursing has been educating these leaders. While world crisis are happening, many students are experiencing their own personal crisis that keeps them from joining this incredible cadre of IU Nurses. Sometimes a rent payment, an electric bill, or groceries stand between them and their education. You can help. The IU Nursing Student Emergency Fund helps students overcome financial hurdles like these. Your gift goes directly to the student to help where it’s most needed. Each and every gift matters and makes a difference in a student’s life.

Your gift to the IU School of Nursing has a direct impact on patient care and global nursing. Scholarships and fellowships help to ensure that nursing students continue to receive the best educational and clinical experiences and to shape nurse leaders who serve vital roles on healthcare teams in clinics and hospitals. Research and faculty development support helps to prepare nurse scientists and faculty members who will change healthcare through their discoveries and the students they empower.
