Requirements for All Students
Uniforms and Supplies
Uniform policy
Students are responsible for being in complete uniform for clinical experiences and will not be allowed in the clinical area without appropriate attire. Therefore, uniforms must be purchased well before the first day of classes. Required uniforms are manufactured by White Swan or Landau and are the color "True Red." Female student nurses may elect to wear white scrub dresses. In addition, long white lab coats may be required for visits to the clinical areas in preparation for clinical experience.

To receive reduced pricing at Scrubs & Beyond or The Uniform House, you must bring your nursing student identification, such as your acceptance letter into the nursing program.
Requirements
- "True Red" scrubs or white scrub dress
- White hose or socks
- White shoes (low heel oxford or slip-on style) are to be worn with the uniform; no open toe or heel shoes are allowed
- Long white lab coat
- IU School of Nursing patch (centered 3 1/2 inches above hem on right upper arm; available at IUPUI Campus Bookstore, about $4)
- Picture identification badges (available at IUPUI's "Jag Tag" office in the Campus Center, Room 217) Please check website for specific holiday hours. You need to be registered for classes and show a driver's license or other type of photo id to obtain your Jag Tag.

Tops
