Requirements for All Students
Complete Online HIPAA Modules
Third- and fourth-semester undergraduate and master’s students may take the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) online training modules for proof of training. This training will not replace HIPAA training required by healthcare agencies. Verification of student compliance with this policy will be conducted by the Center for Academic Affairs prior to the beginning of each semester and each summer session.
Access the modules by logging in with your Network ID and passphrase:
- Third-semester students should complete modules 1, 2, 3, and 11.
- Fourth-semester students should complete modules 4, 5, 6, 7, and 11.
- Master’s students should complete modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 11.
- Print results of each test for your records.
Please note: Documentation that module tests have been taken and passed/failed is automatically recorded in the School of Nursing database.
