Policies

The following policies govern conduct by students, faculty, and staff in the RCICNE.

Food/Drink

No food may be brought into the Center, including the classrooms, reception area, and workrooms. Drinks in containers with a spill-proof lids are allowed. “Coffee shop” or “fast-food” cups and glasses are not permitted.

Dress

Students, faculty, and staff working in the lab in any capacity must be in appropriate clinical attire.

Quiet Zone

The RCICNE is a quiet zone. Please keep your voice low when talking to others. Cell phones and pagers should be set on vibrate; please take calls outside in the hall. In the computer classrooms, headphones are provided at each workstation and required when listening to CDs, DVDs, and music.

Malicious Intent

Anyone found intentionally and/or maliciously destroying or marring furniture, equipment, system files, or computers will be disciplined. Discipline may include, but is not limited to, losing computing privileges and possible academic action.
