Pharmacy
The simulated pharmacy, Nursing 308S and 308T, provides students the experience of learning how long it takes to retrieve medication for a patient. The pharmacy was strategically placed “on the patient floor” rather than in a “central pharmacy” so that students would have to leave the simulation area and retrieve medication in “real time.”
Simulation supplies including educational medications, IV bags, respiratory supplies, tracheotomy supplies, and needles and syringes are stored here. In addition, the rooms contain storage and sink area.
