Dr. Wang will deliver her presentation, "National Health Insurance and Women's Health Policy in Taiwan."
Dr. Wang was the Deputy Minister, Department of Health in Taiwan from 2004-2008, the first and the only nurse scholar appointed for this high-ranking health authority position.
She is the author of 110 papers and 50 research reports and books in addition to 15 funded research projects on women's health across the life span. Wang is also the former Director of the Center for Research on Gender.
