Biosketch
Dr. Sims is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner with an interest in primary health care and behavioral pediatrics. She is an expert in the use of narrative pedagogies in Nurse Practitioner education, and has published articles on this topic in the Journal of Nursing Education and the Journal for Nurse Practitioners. She also consults in the areas of program development for nurse practitioner programs, the use of Liberating Structures, and the use of interpretive research methodologies.
