Biosketch

Dr. Bell has a background in social and clinical psychology, and in family therapy.  Her academic interests center around longitudinal and cross-cultural research on the family, and the relationship between family and individual health.  She teaches interdisciplinary courses around issues of family communication, family health, and family research.  Dr. Bell is also interested in mindfulness and humanistic approaches to healing.  She is engaged in on-going service at the Indiana Women's Prison.
