Biosketch
Judith Young, DNP, CCRN, MSN, has over 30 years of experience in a variety of nursing roles. She has worked as a staff RN in multiple intensive care settings including cardiac and trauma, dialysis outpatient, long term care, manager of a surgical intensive care unit, and as a day house supervisor. She has been at the Indiana University School of Nursing since 1997 and worked for one semester part time at the University of Indianapolis. Courses taught include Professional Development, Leadership and Management Didactic, Leadership and Management Practicum, and Z480 substitute management and leadership portfolio process for RNs physical assessment, adult health, including critical care, nursing management and professional nursing, and issues courses.
She has published articles related to curriculum redesign, and vicarious traumatization. She is active professionally in a variety of roles and currently is Director for the Alpha Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau.
