Biosketch
Dr. Fife conducts behavioral research related to cancer and to HIV/AIDS. She also teaches ethics. She has two current on-going studies. Adaptation of the Family to Bone Marrow Transplantation, a longitudinal study that includes children 7-18 years of age, the primary care giver, and the bone marrow recipient. It is sponsored by The American Cancer Society. She is also conducting Dyadic Psychosexual Adjustment in Breast Cancer, sponsored by the National Cancer Institute. She has published in Cancer Nursing, The Journal of Clinical Oncology, Social Science and Medicine, Image, and Journal of Health and Social Behavior among others.
