Policies

Quiet Zone

The computer center is a quiet zone. Please keep your voice low when talking to others. Cell phones and pagers should be set on vibrate when you are working in the center; please take calls outside in the hall. Headphones are provided and required when listening to CDs, DVDs, and music in the computer.

Malicious Intent

Anyone found intentionally and/or maliciously destroying furniture, equipment, system files or computers will be disciplined. This action includes losing computing privileges and possible academic action.

Food or Drink

No food or drink is allowed in the computer center. A storage cabinet in the front of the center is available for you to safely store your lunch or beverage while using the center.

Printing Policies

  • To print on special paper, you must request the assistance of lab consultants.
  • Transparencies may not be printed under any circumstances.
  • All computer labs on the IUPUI campus require you to have a JagTag with sufficient available funds in order to print. Black-and-white printing costs .04¢ per side, and color printing costs $1 per side. Printing fees will be deducted automatically from the balance on your JagTag. Find out how you can deposit funds on your JagTag.
