Community Initiatives
Service Learning
For future nurses, participating in community service is essential to further understand and appreciate their discipline. “Service learning” refers to community service participation as part of a course. Not only does this service help students gain further understanding of course content, it also gives them an enhanced sense of personal values and civic responsibility.
