Giving to IU Nursing
Increase Student Support
Scholarships for undergraduates and fellowships for graduate students are critical to student success. Unfortunately, more than 70% of eligible IU School of Nursing students receive no financial support. Your gift would enable them to worry less about their financial burden and focus more on their academic work. It would also enable them to complete their studies much faster and move into practice.
Scholarships and fellowships help IUSON attract and retain the best and brightest students, improve their educational experience, and produce more highly skilled nursing graduates, resulting in better health care for everyone.
Many scholarship and fellowship opportunities exist throughout the School including those listed below. Access the "Give Now" button to give to any of the following areas:
Originally established in 1960 from the Nurses' Alumnae Association Loan Fund, this has become the primary scholarship fund benefiting both undergraduate and graduate students at the Indiana University School of Nursing.
Peter Andre Nursing Scholarship
The Peter Andre Nursing Scholarship was established in memory of Peter Andre to ensure that Peter's commitment and passion for the nursing profession will continue.
Students Helping Students Nursing Scholarship
Established in 2010 by IUSON President's Council to support undergraduate students enrolled in the School on the IUPUI campus.
Clinical Nurse Specialist Fellowship
The Clinical Nurse Specialist Fellowship supports students pursuing a graduate degree in the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) track or those who are currently a CNS and are enrolled in a doctoral program at the School.
Alumni Legacy Leaders Fellowship
The Alumni Legacy Leaders Fellowship was established to continue the legacy of leadership at the School. It provides financial support for doctoral students to prepare them for their future as faculty leaders in education reform, as nurse scientists to generate research to improve health outcomes, and as nurse leaders in practice to lead patient-focused healthcare delivery.
Nurse Practitioner Scholarship
This scholarship was created in 2013 to support MSN students in their final semester of a nurse practitioner track at IUSON; preference is given to those students who plan to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at IUSON.

Maximize Your Impact with the Bicentennial Match Program
As IU prepares to celebrate its bicentennial anniversary, we're prepared to match the generosity of all who wish to support IUs most valuable asset: its people.
If you choose to support an undergraduate scholarship, graduate fellowship, or endowed faculty position—or if you are a current or former IU faculty or staff member—your gift could qualify for this historic match.
