Simulation & Skills Centers

Learn by doing

Indiana University School of Nursing has interactive learning facilities on each of our three campuses. Simulation and skills centers offer hands-on experience that will prepare you to work with patients and learn the basic clinical skills of the nursing profession.

These state-of-the-art learning labs help you grow and learn in new, innovative ways. Under the guidance of nursing professors, you will work in a realistic laboratory where you will practice many scenarios you may encounter during actual patient care. You will become more familiar with equipment used in nursing, and also practice communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to help prepare you for real-world patient care in your career.
