Breaking the Myths of Nursing

For students in grades 9–12

Program Objective

This program will provide students with a unique hands-on opportunity to learn about the field of nursing from advanced practice nurses, nursing faculty, and current nursing students. Students will also learn how to prepare for college and nursing school.

Target Audience

The target audience is underrepresented students, including males, who are enrolled in high school and considering nursing as a career, but all high school students interested in nursing are welcome to attend.
